Teen Scene 2014

It is that time of year again for the teens of Eastchester, Tuckahoe, Bronxville to register for our Teen Scene Program. "Teen Scene" offers a place for teens to get together, have fun and make new friends in a safe, chaperoned environment. We encourage all teens to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. **We understand that some families have difficulty paying for Teen Scene, but would still like their teen to participate in the program. We wish to help those who are truly in need. Along with the Community Fund, we have come up with a Scholarship Program to help. Please call the Superintendent of Parks and Recreation at (914) 771-3313 for further information. 

MOTHER/CHILD PLAYGROUP-WINTER 2015

Registration is now available for our program starting in Janaury!!!!!

The Mother/Child Playgroup is one of our most popular programs! This two-hour program is designed for caregivers and tots to meet, socialize and play! Enjoy play time, circle time, snack time and craft time. It's always a FUN time! This program is held at Haindl Field in the Recreation Room. 1 Gabriel Rescigno Drive, Scarsdale (Behind Fresh Market Shopping Center).

High School Boys Basketball League

This league is for high school students in grades 9th-12th who are NOT playing on a school team. Registration will close on December 12th and games will be played on Saturday evenings starting January 10th. If you would like ot be a coach or an assistant coach, please indicate this on the form. Participants will be placed on teams based on a draft; requests will not be honored. To register fill out the EIBL form located below and return it to the Recreation Department by Friday, December 12th.

Bronco Hoops

This Saturday Morning Basketball program will be run by the Bronxville High School Basketball Coaches and the Bronxville Varsity Basketball Players. Receive hands on, personalized instruction. Each day participants will take part in 30 minutes of skill development and drills and then put those skills into practice during 30 minutes of controlled game play.

Ballerina Ball

A Very FROZEN Nutcracker

Join us for this special cross over event on Saturday, December 13th from 1:00pm-3:00pm. An enchanting and interactive orginal Nutcracker celebration with a FROZEN twist! Join Elsa, the Sugar Plum Fairy while making crafts and dancing on this December afternoon.

Holiday Events 

Santa Holiday Calling
This Special event is for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves will be making phone calls to all registered boys and girls on Wednesday, December 17th between 6:00pm and 8:00pm. If you would like your child to receive a phone call from the North Pole, please fill out the registration form below and return it to the Recreation Office (Town Hall, 40 Mill Road) by December 12th.

While you are out shopping locally bring your children to meet Santa and his helpers at the Town Gazebo on Mill Road. Enjoy Hot Chocolate, Arts and Crafts and a nice local afternoon.

The
Community Fund

The Community Fund is a non-profit corporation founded in 1919 to enhance the quality of life for, and provide assistance to, all residents living in the Bronxville 10708, Eastchester and Tuckahue areas (the "BET community"). The Community Fund monitors the BET community to determine which services are most needed and provides grant funding and administrative support to the social service agencies and community programs that meet these various essential needs.
