By Car

A number of convenient roadways are easily accessible from the Town of Eastchester, including the Hutchinson River, Bronx River, Sprain Brook, Saw Mill and Cross County Parkways. Only passenger cars are allowed on parkways. In addition, such main thoroughfares as I-87, the New York State Thruway, I-287, the Cross Westchester Expressway, and I-95, the New England Thruway are only a short distance away.

From Long Island and South:Whitestone Bridge Take Hutchinson River Parkway NORTH Take Exit 17 North Avenue (Eastchester, New Rochelle) Make a left at traffic light. Bear left at next light onto Mill Road Follow Mill Road to the 3rd traffic light and make a left into Town Hall parking lot.

From West or East:Take 287 to the exit for Hutchinson River Parkway Follow directions for North listed below.

From North: Take Hutchinson River Parkway SOUTH Take Exit 18W (Mill Road, Eastchester) Exit will put you on Mill Road heading West Follow Mill Road, at 3rd traffic light make left into Town Hall parking lot.

By Train

Commuter Train Service Metro-North trains south to New York City or to points north of Eastchester in Westchester and Putnam Counties can be boarded at any of the five different train stations in or adjacent to the Town. For schedule and fare information or for information about monthly passes, please call 800-METRO-INFO 24 hours a day. County and Commuter Bus Service Westchester County's Bee-Line System consists of a network of routes serving many points throughout the County. In addition to its County service, the Bee-Line also runs an express bus to New York City that makes stops along Central Park Avenue in Yonkers before completing its route at Fifth Avenue and 23rd street in Manhattan. Call the Bee-Line Hotline at 682-2020, Monday through Friday from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. for schedule and fare information or for information on passes for regular commuters. Bronxville Bus Line, the Bronxville bus company is a private company that operates a shopper and commuter loop from California and Mill Roads and includes stops at the Bronxville, Tuckahoe and Crestwood train stations, Lawrence Hospital and the Cross County Shopping Center. By Plane

Four airports are less than an hour away from the Town of Eastchester: Westchester County Airport in Purchase, LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy Airports in Queens, and Newark International Airport in New Jersey.

Local Service

ParaTransit Driver-assisted curb-to-curb ambulette service anywhere in Westchester County is available through the Westchester Office for the Disabled and the Bee-Line System. This service may be used for medical, occupational or personal purposes by physically or developmentally disabled persons who are otherwise unable to use public transportation.

George Washington Bridge to Major Deegan to Cross County Parkway east to Hutchinson River Parkway north to exit 17. Then follow directions below.***

From Exit 17***

Turn left at light onto North Avenue. Next light bear left to Mill Road. At next light make right onto California Road. At next light turn right onto White Plains Road. At next light make right into Lake Isle.

From the Bronx

Bronx River Parkway to exit 9, Leewood Drive. Then follow directions below.**

From Upper Westchester

Taconic Parkway south to Bronx River Parkway south to exit 9, Leewood Drive (exit left lane). Then follow directions below.**

Exit 9, Leewood Drive**

Throught tunnel to Leewood Drive. Left turn at 1st stop sign, left turn at light onto White Plains Road, Route 22. At 2nd light make right into Lake Isle.

From Rockland County

Tappan Zee Bridge to exit 8, Cross Westchester Expressway East (287) to Exit 9 Hutchinson River Parkway south to exit 18W. Then follow directions below.*

From Connecticut

Merritt Parkway south to Hutchinson River Parkway south to exit 18W. Then follow directions below.*

Exit 18W*

Right turn off exit onto Mill Road, make right at light onto California Road. Next light turn right onto White Plains Road. Next light make right into Lake Isle.

Directions to the Public Library

Same as directions to Lake Isle, only continue South on White Plains Road.
