1. What forms of identification must I bring with me when I apply for a marriage license?

You must provide a picture ID, such as a driver's license or passport and a birth certificate. If you have been married before, a certified Decree of Divorce or Certificate of Dissolution of Marriage, for each marriage, is required. Prospective bride and groom must come together to apply for a license at least 24 hours before the wedding, but no more than 60 days in advance. Non-residents must make an appointment by calling 771-3351. There is a $40 fee for a Marriage License (cash or check).
