1. What forms of identification must I bring with me when I apply for a marriage
license?
You must provide a picture ID, such as a driver's license or passport
and a birth certificate. If you have been married before, a certified Decree
of Divorce or Certificate of Dissolution of Marriage, for each marriage,
is required. Prospective bride and groom must come together to apply for a
license at least 24 hours before the wedding, but no more than 60 days in advance.
Non-residents must make an appointment by calling 771-3351. There is a $40
fee for a Marriage License.

2. How do I obtain a copy of my marriage license?
Copies of vital records for those individuals who were born, died or obtained
their marriage license in the Town are on file in the Town Clerk's Office.
The fee is $10 per copy. You may request a copy by mail or in person.

3. How can I obtain a handicapped-parking permit?
Applications for residents in the unincorporated area of Eastchester only
are available in the Town Clerk's Office and must be completed by the
applicant and their physician. Applications for residents of the Villages
of Tuckahoe and Bronxville are available at Village Hall.

4. Can I obtain a hunting or fishing license in Town Hall?
Yes, New York State Conservation Licenses may be obtained at the Town Clerk's
Office. Hunters should bring their driver's license and either an old
hunting license or a hunter education certificate when applying. No certification
is necessary for fishing licenses. The fee varies according to the license
type.

5. I live on Garth Road and would like to obtain a parking permit.
What is the procedure?
Resident, merchant and visitor applications for Garth Road parking
permits are available in the Town Clerk's Office. There is no fee. The required
documents (Driver's license, vehicle registration, proof of residence
and/or employment on Garth Rd., letter from resident for visitor) must be provided
with the completed application. Permits are valid July 1st to June 30th
of the following year and must be renewed every year.

6. I live at 235 Garth Road and have a parking permit for my car.
My sister, from out of town, will be staying with me for a few days, is there
a way she can park in the area?
Yes, she may park in one of the 114 non-permit spaces located
on the southerly part of Grayrock Road, along Essex or on Garth Road near
the playground. Or, on a daily basis, you may call the Eastchester Police Department
at 961-3464 to have short-term visitors placed on an exempt list. You
will have to provide the year, make of car, license plate number and location
of the vehicle.

7. I have general questions about the Election process
and registering to vote. Who should I call?
You may request a voter registration application or absentee
ballot application by calling the Town Clerk’s Office at 771-3351. In addition, please contact
our office to ask general questions concerning the location of your polling
place or other general questions. Or you may wish to contact the Westchester
County Board of Elections directly at 995-5700.
