Roll call conducted by Mr. Cermele:
Ms. Uhle: States Mr. Pulaski and Ms.
11 Murphy will not be able to attend the meeting
APPLICATION 06-92, 112 LIONS ROAD
Ms. Uhle: Explains this is a modest
16 addition to an existing single family
residence. States application appeared before
17 ARB earlier this month. States ARB had two
comments, two of which the applicant did comply
18 with and two which applicant may not have
agreed with. Explains ARB asked applicant to
19 reconsider the semi circular window in the
upper right-hand front elevation and that has
20 remained. States ARB also suggested to
consider adjusting the roof lines to better
21 integrate the left side and right side of the
22 Architect: Explains he did try to
address that, but this building was done in
23 three stages. Explains it used to be a little
cape at one time, then they put a shed roof on
24 the left side and right side and it did not go
to the ridge. Explains it was impossible to
25 combine the roofs and also to get a center
symmetrical look as in a colonial. Explains
owner loves this design and loves the circular
3 Mr. Cermele: Makes a motion to open the
Ms. Cascione: Seconds motion.
Mr. Cermele: Makes a motion to close the

11 The Chairman: States item one from the
ARB was to add elements of interest to the
13 Ms. Uhle: Shows window that was added to
the front elevation. States second comment was
14 to add roof plan to show how the roof pitches
and applicant did provide that.
The Chairman: Asks if half round on top
16 of the window is glazed.
17 Architect: States yes.
18 Mr. Cermele: Asks if they will add
lights to the existing windows.
Architect: States existing windows do
21 The Chairman: Asks if any of the
existing windows on the side elevation have
23 Architect: States they do not have
The Chairman: Asks if they are adding
25 grids to those windows.
The Chairman: Feels then the circle
3 window up top should not have grids. Asks if
they are using the snap in grids.
Architect: States Anderson windows now
6 Mr. Cermele: States he has no problem
with the circle top window.
The Chairman: Asks if there is any
8 change in curb cuts or driveways.
10 Ms. Uhle: Explains this is a modest
three hundred square foot addition to an

put mutton bars on the upper and lower sash on
13 the window, put it so it creates a square
pattern, as opposed to three over three do two
14 over two so it relates to the center of the
half circle. States that's the applicant's
16 Ms. Cascione: Makes a motion to approve
Application 06-92, 112 Lions Road.
Mr. Cermele: Seconds motion.
The Chairman: States they will hold the
20 approval of the minutes of the September and
October meetings until the January meeting when
21 there is a full board. States the one item
that was adjourned from this evening,
22 Application 06-97, 116 Lake Shore Drive, will
be on the agenda next period.
