Patrol Division

Lieutenant Justin Bernstein is the Commanding Officer of the Patrol Services Division.  He is a graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Iona College.  He was a member of the New York City Police Department prior to joining the Eastchester Police Department.  

The Patrol Division is by far the largest of the four divisions of the Eastchester Police Department and is the most visible, providing police service to the community 24 hours a day. The patrol division is responsible for patrolling the streets of Eastchester and ensuring the safety of its citizens. It is divided into several patrol squads, the Traffic Division, Motorcycle Unit, and Bicycle Unit. 

In addition to Patrol Division duties, Lt. Bernstein  oversees the departments school resource officers, Youth Officers and D.A.R.E program.
